Drive survey monuments quickly and safely with labor saving LIXIE brand Dead Blow Hammers and Sledge Hammers. Urethane faces eliminate metal to metal contact. As the hammer strikes an object, the urethane face absorbs a portion of the blow not absorbed by the object and returns through the hammer to create a rebound; the steel shot inside the hammer head casting moves forward and strikes the forward part of the cavity, providing maximum dampening dead blow action. This results in a greater impact on the item being hit. Several sizes are available.
