Special thanks to Jerry Penry for sharing a few photos of a wonderful GLO stone from 1857.

"Rarely do I get to see an original GLO stone marked this nice.  We dug this one up today at the township corner common to T6-7N, R5-6E.  The brick was set by State Surveyor Hugh Dillon in 1935."
