If you like stories on surveying from back in the day, Walt Disney World or survey markers well this article is for you.  Written by Patty Winter for American Surveyor Magazine she goes into detail on how Walt Disney World began, through the eyes of the crews that surveyed it.  Patty is also a geocacher and an enthusiastic one at that.  So much so that she has her own website which provides photos and coordinates for over twenty marks at the Disneyland Resort (Califorinia) and more than seventy at Disney World (Florida).

So how do we fit in?  Well we've been making survey markers for the Walt Disney World Company since the 1980's and to this day is the most popular and most recognized survey marker we've ever made.

So the next time you visit Central Florida's largest tourist destination, keep your eyes to the ground and you might just spot one of these little beauties.
