New! Countersink Drill Bit comes in TWO sizes!
Introducing Berntsen's exclusive 2½" countersink drill bit.
....a new way to set perfectly recessed concrete markers fast!

"The greatest thing since sliced bread! This countersink drill bit has really made life easier for me." - Jim Frame, Frame Surveying, Davis, CA
Now you can drill the shaft hole and countersink for Berntsen flat or domed markers in one pass! The CD2DRL countersink drill bit is specially designed to install Berntsen's CD2 series markers in asphalt or concrete while the CD25DRL works with our 2½" diameter concrete markers in both aluminum or bronze. Just drill the 7/8" hole needed for the monument stem, and keep going to ream the proper countersink for a neat looking, long-lasting, recessed monument placement. The countersink will be perfectly aligned, the stem hole will be the proper depth, and you won't have to change drill bits! Both drill bits fit a SDS-Plus chuck and work with the Bosch 36V Hammer Drill. A spline to SDS adapter is available that allows use with spline hammers. Recommended for hand-held machines weighing less than 30 lbs.
The CAPMAG ceramic magnet can be used with concrete markers to assure easy detection of the mark by a magnetic locator. Dimensions are 1/2" (13 mm) in diameter and 1/4" (6 mm) long. Can be located up to 4 feet (1220 mm) deep with a magnetic locator.
FASTPLUG. Anchoring Cement is a hydraulic-type concrete. It expands while it dries and is great for setting all types of stem-type survey markers in existing concrete or rock. For best results use "drinking quality" water. Sets quickly and is easy to use. Available in 4lb. and 10lb. cans.
